ADT Research contributes to reach these ambitious climate goals by offering different solutions.
Future drivetrains should strive towards the goal of zero emissions and thus a greatly reduced environmental impact.
The entire aviation sector aims towards tackling new energy supply & storage systems, engines and propulsion systems. In order to reach these goals, achieve marketable products and make them fly by 2050, excellent combined research efforts are required.
The ADT Research department is experienced in:
- participating and leading national and international aviation research projects
- drafting research proposals and performing administrative tasks
- design and technical drawing
- market analysis
- dissemination and exploitation activities.
Before the project: ADT has successfully achieved funding for research projects of both national and international scale in the aerospace sector (Horizon 2020, Take Off, LuFo etc.). A successful proposal requires both an excellent idea, a solid methodology in drafting proposals and well-connected networks in the search of partners. ADT brings excellent experience in all those contributing factors.
During the project: Following a successful proposal, ADT Research acts as a research partner as well as potential leading partner in research projects that require experts in drivetrain layout, gearbox and gear design as well as system competence for whole powertrains. ADT Research has proven in several projects to be a reliable and knowledgeable partner: Vari-Speed II (FFG/LuFo), LUBGEAR (H2020), Icing Wing Tunnel (FFG)
Final phases and beyond the project: ADT Research offers to lead efforts related to dissemination and exploitation of results. ADT Research coordinates and participates in dissemination activities (publications, presentations…), organizes conferences and makes research efforts and chosen results visible to the scientific community. Beyond the project ADT can support the exploitation of results due to their experience in the patenting process and by advancing the TRL towards a research & development project.
